FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER - FORESTER: Environmental Resource Solutions, Inc. (ERS) has an immediate opening for a Field Operations Manager - Forester in San Diego County, CA. The forester will be the Field Operations Manager of the Fuels Reduction Management Contractor project for the San Diego County Fuel Reduction program which includes preparation of and monitoring compliance with contracts awarded by the County. Work will include daily supervision of ERS field technicians, extensive public contact, review of project production reports for quality, monitoring of tree removal contractors, coordination of their production schedules, and meeting with contractor and County representatives. All work will be under the supervision of the Project Manager, a California RPF.
Project duration is estimated to last approximately eighteen months or longer. Qualifications: BS degree in forestry, and adequate experience and training to meet the requirements of this job. Experience managing multiple work crews, quality control and strong public relation skills are required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and computer skills are required. The position requires a valid driver’s license; ability to work in a forested environment, under all weather conditions, and on steep ground. The employee is required to live within commuting distance of the ERS project office in Julian, San Diego County. This is a fully benefited Regular Full-Time position with benefits as described in the ERS Employee Handbook. Benefits include 9 paid holidays, vacation/sick leave (PTO), medical and 401(k).
